Question: I have heard that we have received a grant to buy ballistic shields for patrol supervisors. Is this correct?
Answer: Yes, we have received grant funding for shields and are in the process of vetting the type and configuration now. Hopefully they will be out to supervisors soon. I have looked at one version and it is very light and maneuverable. I think that they will be a good addition to the field.
