Lodge Question:  Is the Department going to create and utilize a Discipline Matrix?

Chief Jordan Answer:  There are no plans currently to implement a discipline matrix. It would be nearly impossible to devise a matrix that would take into account mitigating circumstances, previous discipline history (or lack of it) and other factors that I use when making disciplinary decisions. I will continue to make certain discipline is fair and always consider previous precedents when deciding discipline.
